You should be sure toutilize providers in the Aetna network.However, you should not update your mailing addresswhile you are visiting in the US or you may lose eligibilityfor the Aetna Global plan.If I’m in Aetna Global, whycan’t I elect Dental?I do not see “dental”coverage as a deduction onmy pay stub. Do I havedental coverage?What about my otherbenefits such as lifeinsurance, disability,Savings, or Pension? Doesbeing overseas have anyimpact on these benefits?What happens if I becomeseriously ill or injuredoverseas and need to comehome for treatment? Howare they paid?If you are not using a direct pay provider, claims to AetnaGlobal should be accompanied by a claim form anditemized receipts and can be submitted via secure fax,online, standard mail or overnight express mail. In additionto provider name and cost, itemized receipts must includedate of service, type of service, diagnosis, place of service,and patient name.
