You should be sure toutilize providers in the Aetna network.However, you should not update your mailing addresswhile you are visiting in the US or you may lose eligibilityfor the Aetna Global plan.If I’m in Aetna Global, whycan’t I elect Dental?I do not see “dental”coverage as a deduction onmy pay stub. Do I havedental coverage?What about my otherbenefits such as lifeinsurance, disability,Savings, or Pension? Doesbeing overseas have anyimpact on these benefits?What happens if I becomeseriously ill or injuredoverseas and need to comehome for treatment? Willmy insurance covertransportation?What if I or a familymember develops a serioushealth condition that willrequire a long, expensivehospital stay – do I have topay out of pocket and thenfile a claim forreimbursement?The Aetna Global <strong>Benefits</strong> plan option includes dentalcoverage; a separate dental election is not necessary.The Aetna Global Benefit (AGB) plan option includes dentalcoverage. Therefore, there is not a separate deduction fordental coverage if you are enrolled in this plan option.If you are not enrolled in the AGB and there is no deductionfor dental coverage on your pay stub, and you think you areenrolled in a dental plan option, please contact the NGBCfor more information.Your other Northrop Grumman Health Plan elections (longtermdisability, optional life and/or accidental death &dismemberment) and your Northrop Grumman SavingsPlan contributions will continue during your overseasassignment. You participation in the Northrop GrummanPension Program or Retirement Account Contributions, ifeligible, will also continue.You will need to call the AGB 24-hour <strong>International</strong> ServiceCenter to see if they will authorize transportation to thenearest facility at which you can receive medicallyacceptable treatment. That may not be the US. You shouldalso contact your HR department as they may be able toassist you.Many facilities have direct pay arrangements with AGB sothat you would not be responsible for more than yournormal deductibles and co-pays. If a facility does not havean all-inclusive direct pay arrangement, AGB can often setup a one-time contract and make arrangements to directlypay the facility. In additionto provider name and cost, itemized receipts must includedate of service, type of service, diagnosis, place of service,and patient name.
