The <strong>Tipp</strong>ecanoe Educational Endowment (TEE) is pleased to announce that we will be hostingan assembly on March 5 th featuring Brett Eastburn: "No Arms, No Legs, NoHandicaps". The assembly will be at <strong>Tipp</strong>ecanoe High School at 10 a.m. for 9 th through 12 thgraders and at <strong>Tipp</strong>ecanoe Middle School at 1:30 p.m. for 4 th through 8 th graders. Brett visitedus in 2006 and our students and parents still rave about his energetic, motivational, andenthusiastic presentation. Brett feels that there are no handicaps, or obstacles in life which can'tbe overcome if you truly believe in yourself. This 4 th place finish ties thebest place ever by a TMS team at this competition. Team membersare: Josh May, Ally Chitwood, Joey Hodge, Thomas Chaney,Sammie Rowland, and Zachery Sorah. The team did a great jobrepresenting TMS at the competition. Freshman Boys’ Basketball Team Captured CBC Title!Congratulations to our Freshman Boys’ Basketball team forcapturing the CBC title this past Saturday. They defeatedStebbins in the championship game, 65 – 51. The FreshmanBoys’ overall record was 17 – 3. Travel to the British Isles – Summer 2013!Ediurgh Castle, ScotlandMr. Bellas is leading a group of students to Ireland, Wales, Scotlandand England on an 11 day trip next summer. The trip is open to allstudents, parents or staff of <strong>Tipp</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>Schools</strong>. EF Educational tourswill be the company running this tour. Students must be at least 14years old as of June 2013 to participate. The group will visit manycastles, cathedrals and cultural sites in the British Isles.
