REGIS TECHNOLOGIESPirkle PhasesWhelk-01, Whelk-02Whelk-01 is a widely applicable chiral phase, due to the incorporationof both π-acceptor and π-donor characteristics. It was originallydesigned for the separation of underivatized non-steroidalanti-inflammatory drugs, but shows versatility in the analysis of awide range of compounds, including amides, epoxides, esters,ureas, carbamates, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acidsand alcohols. Figure 1 shows the separation of warfarin enantiomersusing both normal and reversed-phase modes.Figure 1.
