Fusion Machines2LC & 2CU Fusion Machine Fusion Capability for ½’’ CTS – 2’’ IPS (16mm – 60mm)2LCThe 2LC employs a semi-automatic locking cam (LC) systemto lock the movable jaw in place during the coolingcycle. It will butt fuse ½’’ CTS to 2’’ IPS (16mm to 60mm)pipe. The 2LC incorporates McElroy’s patented CenterlineGuidance System, and is designed to butt fuse tees,ells and other fittings. The machine is made primarily ofsurface-hardened aluminum for light weight and durability.The jaws and inserts have multiple serrations for maximumgrip on the pipe. Raise the machine to a comfortable levelwith the optional manual fusion machine stand.2CUThe 2CU Machine will butt fuse ½’’ CTS to 2’’ IPS (16mm to60mm) pipe, tees, ells and other fittings. This combinationunit (CU) incorporates McElroy’s patented combinationsidewall feature. Sidewall clamps with chain vise allowthe unit to be attached on the centerline of a pipe mainfor sidewall fusion of ½” to 2” service saddles, roundbase branch saddles and small tapping tees. The 2CU isequipped with chain lengths that will clamp up to 8” IPSpipe. Additional chain lengths are available for largermain sizes.
