VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT IS INDIA'S DEVELOPMENTUnder the dynamic, innovative, dedicated and kind patronage of Respected Sarita Jindal and ShivJindal, the flag of village upliftment has started from East e.g. land of Lord Shiva's abode of Manimahesh(Chamba Khajjiar) to the West of llsoba (West Bengal) and from North of Rampur Gadwal (J&K) to Southof Kumbarkoppallu (Karnataka). A genuin attempt has been made to select at least every village from allthe four directions on merits and topography of the area and there is no pick and choose.Every year the couple comes to India in the month of November. They have resolved to spend theirvacations for the welfare of the Indian masses living in the villages.With every visit new villages are added and the progress of the work done in the villages adoptedearlier is reviewed. What a common and needy man requires for his day to day living is:.........1. Fresh drinking water. 2. A school for children. 3. A shelter to live in.4. Neat and clean sanitation facilities. 5.Laying of roads, lanes and other connected facilities.6. Sewing centers and sewing machines for the women folk.7. Provision of uniforms, school books to the needy and poor children.8. pollution of the environment has assumed such gigantic proportions that every thing you buy is dusty,dirty and polluted. There is no fresh air to breathe in. Therefore special attention was given to this importantaspect and 1000 trees were planted. Besides that, following work was carried out.......1. Repairs of roads and drainage system. 2. Uniforms and school bags provided to 500 schoolchildren. 3. Provision of drinking water by installing 3 tanks. 4. Repairs and renovation of rooms of Govt.Primary school. 5. Neat and clean beddings provided to 58 aged persons. 6. Plantation of 1000 trees ofdifferent varieties. 7. White wash of all buildings of the village in yellow colours. 8. With the inspiration thatthe villagers received through the execution of the above programs the villagers constructed a new andmodern funeral ground which is fitted with the latest facilities.It is worth mentioning that the officials of the Punjab Govt. visited this village and appreciated t h ework undertaken by the Jindal Foundation.Rampur Gadwal : This village is situated on the border of India & Pakistan. It is about 30kms fromJammu. The development work was started in the year 2009 and is in full swing. Some work has beencompleted which is listed below :1. Coustruction of toilets. 2. Repair and renovation of roads, drainage system. 3. Uniforms, sweaters,blankets and shawls were distributed to aged person. 4. 18 Toilets completed. 5.Two lanes under constructionin Gadwal. 6. Repair and construction of school wall and retaining wall. 7. Construction of toilet in Middleschool. 8. Installation of water pump by digging 90 feet of earth. 9.
