The plant material wascollected in July 2008 <strong>on</strong> mountain Rtanj (<strong>Serbia</strong>) <strong>and</strong> extracted with cyclohexane<strong>and</strong> 70% methanol (V/V). DPPH radical scavenging activity <strong>and</strong> inhibitory effect <strong>of</strong>MeOH extract <strong>on</strong> lipid peroxidati<strong>on</strong> (LP) in liposomes <strong>of</strong> methanol extract weremeasured according to <strong>the</strong> modified methods described previously by Kundaković etal. (2006) <strong>and</strong> Kukić et al. (2006). Najviše ih ima ulistovima, semenu, kori i cvetovima biljaka, a do sada je izolovano više od 4,000različitih flav<strong>on</strong>oida.
