After micropropagati<strong>on</strong>,shoots <strong>of</strong> few cultivars <strong>of</strong> B. vulgaris L. were rooted <strong>on</strong> Gamborg media c<strong>on</strong>taining0.1, 0.5, 1.0 <strong>and</strong> 2.0 mg/l indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). The number <strong>of</strong> rootedplantlets <strong>and</strong> roots length were recorded at three DAIs (25, 25-44 <strong>and</strong> 44-45). Thetime <strong>of</strong> cultivati<strong>on</strong> was also studied factor. Different c<strong>on</strong>centrati<strong>on</strong>s <strong>of</strong> IBA hadsignificant effects <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> examined parameters. The rooting ability increased withc<strong>on</strong>centrati<strong>on</strong>s <strong>of</strong> IBA. IBA at level 1.0 mg/l <strong>and</strong> 2.0 mg/l were found to be <strong>the</strong> besttreatment for rooting <strong>of</strong> micropropagated shoots. The percentage <strong>of</strong> rooted plantletsis higher for l<strong>on</strong>ger durati<strong>on</strong> <strong>of</strong> treatment in culture.
