In this paper an effort is made to simplify <strong>the</strong> existing system, voluminousfor entomologists that specialize in fanerobiotic groups <strong>of</strong> insects (Od<strong>on</strong>ata,Orthoptera, Heteroptera, Homoptera, Trichoptera, Lepidoptera, Diptera,Hymenoptera, Coleoptera ect.). As a basis <strong>of</strong> suggested classificati<strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> vegetati<strong>on</strong>map <strong>of</strong> Balkan Peninsula is used (Glavač et al.,1972). The existing vegetati<strong>on</strong> unitsin <strong>the</strong> map are in relati<strong>on</strong> with CORINE system <strong>of</strong> classificati<strong>on</strong> by ecoregi<strong>on</strong>s <strong>of</strong>Balkan Peninsula.128
