(a)(b)(c)Copy <strong>of</strong> shipping bill filed by EOUs;A copy <strong>of</strong> Currency Declaration Form filed by <strong>Foreign</strong>buyer with Customs at time <strong>of</strong> his arrival; and<strong>Foreign</strong> Exchange Realisation / Encashment Certificate fromBank.6.27.3 In addition to this, Personal Carriage by foreign bound passengeron Document Against Acceptance (DA) / Cash On Delivery(COD) basis is also allowed. EOUs will have to furnish followingdocuments as pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> exports:-(a)(b)Copy <strong>of</strong> Shipping Bill;Bank Certificate <strong>of</strong> Export and Realisation.6.27.4 Procedure for personal carriage <strong>of</strong> import parcels will be same asfor import <strong>of</strong> goods by airfreight except that parcels shall be broughtto Customs by EOUs / foreign national for examination and release.Instructions issued by Customs authorities in this regard shouldbe followed mutatis mutandis.6.27.5 Personal carriage <strong>of</strong> parts by foreign bound passengers shall beallowed in case same are required for repairs <strong>of</strong> exported goodsat customer site. Following documents should be submitted aspro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> exports:-(a)(b)Permission letter from Customs for exports.Invoice with value (for payment or free <strong>of</strong> charge).Replacement / 6.28.1 Units may send capital goods abroad for repair with permissionRepair <strong>of</strong> imported /<strong>of</strong> Customs authorities. Any foreign exchange payment for thisindigenous goodspurpose will also be allowed. However, no permission will berequired for sending capital goods for repair within country.6.28.2 EOU / EHTP / STP / BTP units may, on basis <strong>of</strong> records maintainedby them and prior intimation to Customs authorities:-(a)(b)Transfer goods to DTA / abroad for repair / replacement,testing or calibration and return.Transfer goods for quality testing / R&D purpose to anyrecognised laboratory / institution upto Rs.5 lakhs perannum without payment <strong>of</strong> duty, on giving suitableundertaking to Customs for return <strong>of</strong> goods. However, ifgoods have been consumed / destroyed in process <strong>of</strong>testing etc. a certificate from laboratory / institution to thiseffect be furnished to Customs.114
