Warm Up <strong>Routine</strong>• Once all students are in their squads, we willbegin our warm up routine.• The warm up routine will change every 9weeks. You will be quizzed periodicallythroughout the year on the routine.
Warm Up <strong>Routine</strong> Sample• 15 jumping jacks• 30 seconds jog in place• 15 side-to-side hops• 30 seconds jog in place• 15 scissors• 30 seconds jog in place
Stretching• After the warm up routine, we will beginstretches.
Running Exercise• Running Exercises may include a variety ofactivities such as:– Pacers– Timed runs inside or at the track– Relays– Tag games– Etc.
Cool Down & Reflection• After the activity, we will begin cool downexercises.– Walking, static or dynamic stretching, etc.• Lastly, you will write a three to five sentencereflection of today’s activities in your binder.– This will be graded!!!
Locker Room• Once all reflections are completed, studentswill enter the locker room to dress back intotheir school clothes.• You will be given 5 minutes to get dressed.• All students must remain in the locker roomuntil the P.E. teacher dismisses you.
