Slika je postala relikvija,katere vrednost se včasih meri v milijonih ameriškihdolarjev. Dokaz, da je ta relikvija prava ali pa ne, medvsemi elementi, ki sestavljajo umetniško delo, najvidnejedoloča prav avtorjev lastnoročni podpis.Mistificirana modernistična ideja podpisa v slikarstvuseveda na glas ni govorila o njegovi tržni, prestižniali kulturni vrednosti.
