PLACEMENT ON THE WAITING LISTThe PHA must accept pre-applications from families for whom the list is open unless there isgood cause for not accepting the application (such as denial of assistance) for the grounds statedin the regulations [24 CFR 982.206(b)(2)]. No applicant has a right or entitlement to be listed onthe waiting list, or to any particular position on the waiting list [24 CFR 982.202(c)].Eligible for Placement on the Waiting ListPHA PolicyPlacement on the waiting list does not indicate that the family is, in fact, eligible forassistance.
