For video software, select Video Surveillance.What’s newChanges to this release of the SymDec 16 plus 4 software include:Archive screen• You can now change the time and date in the Archive screen.• There is now an All on and All off selection in the Archive screen.• In the Archive screen another digit was added in the Archive length to beable to archive a much bigger clip.SymBrowser• Using SymBrowser port forwarding is not needed at the PC side.• About log has been incorporated into the SymBrowser.PTZ control• Pelco P and D protocols are now available.Alarms and motion• In the Camera menu, checking the Full screen alarm check box will callthe alarmed camera to Mon a and Mon b to full screen. 2SymDec 16 plus 4Release Notes• In the Motion screen, an unchecked Indicator check box will remove the M on the display when amotion event is triggered.• Prealarm and preevent are now dependent on the frame rate, resolution and quality settings. WhenAlarm only is selected, the prealarm will be predetermined by the unit or you can select to turn it off.When Event + alarm is selected, the preevent and prealarm will be predetermined by the unit or youcan select to turn it off.Notifications• When selected in the Alarms notifications screen, Fan fail and Disk fail can send a TCP alarm• Boot-up progress is indicated on the bottom right side of Mon A when the recorder is powered up. It isdisplayed as percentage completed.• When the Write once or No over write is selected the unit will display the Information screen on theMon A output with a message that the HDD is 95% full and again when it is 100% full.Additional features• Bidirectional audio.This is used in the integration with MAS software.• Custom daylight saving time. You can set the daylight saving time function to start and stop on anytime and date. To find this new feature, to System > Time/date > Daylight saving time and selectCustom.• The CamPlus IP and ACTi 2.0 IP cameras are now supported for live and playback at the local devicelevel.
