System Operation3.10.5 ProjectrThis menu item provides a means of selecting the type of installed projector andopening angles for the transmitted beams.Stick:SteerTest:Steer x.xºE-R:Main Array:Transmits via the installed stick projector.Reserved for maintenance testing.Where x.xº will be 1.5º, 3.0º, 4.5º, and 6.0º. This itemwill be active only if a steerable projector is installed.Transmits via the installed Extended Range projector.Transmits via the main ceramic array.IMPORTANTAlways select the type of projector actually installed to avoid a conflict with VesselReference Point (VRP) calculations. Also, if the wrong type is projector is selected,the system may not transmit or transmit at a greatly reduced level.3.10.6 PitchStabEnables the operator to select the type of pitch stabilization desired.Off:Stab:Stab+Pred:Pitch stabilization is not used.Pitch is stabilized using the most recent value fromthe motion sensor.Pitch is stabilized using an extrapolation of recent historyvalues from the motion sensor. This is the preferredoperating condition.3.10.7 RollStabRoll stabilization is not currently provided in the SeaBat <strong>8101</strong>.3.11 BITE ScreenThe small box in the upper left corner of the display is the BITE button.
