The appointment will be made on contract for a minimum period <strong>of</strong> oneyears in the first instances.2. The contract appointee will be paid fixed emoluments @ 15.300/- Permonth (which shall be equal to minimum <strong>of</strong> the pay band plus grade pay <strong>of</strong> thepost). The contract appointee will be entitled for increase in contractualemoluments <strong>of</strong> Rs. 460/- for further extended years and no other allied benefitssuch as senior / selection scales and NPA etc. shall be given.3. The service <strong>of</strong> the contract appointee will be purely on temporary basis.The appointment is liable to be terminated in case the performance/conduct <strong>of</strong>the contract appointee is not found satisfactory.4. The private practice <strong>of</strong> any kind, whatsoever, is strictly prohibited.5. The contractual appointment shall not confer any right to incumbent for theregularization in service at any stage.6. The contractual <strong><strong>Ayurved</strong>ic</strong> <strong>Medical</strong> <strong>Officers</strong> will be entitled for one daycasual leave after putting one month's service. This leave can be accumulatedup to one year. No leave <strong>of</strong> any other kind is admissible to the contract appointeeHe/She shall not be entitled for <strong>Medical</strong> Re-imbursement and LTC etc. Onlymaternity leave will be given as per rules.7, Unauthorized absence from the duty without the approval <strong>of</strong> theControlling Officer shall automatically lead to the termination <strong>of</strong> the contract. Thecontract appointee shall not be entitled for contractual amount for the period <strong>of</strong>absence from duty.8. An <strong>of</strong>ficer appointed on contract basis who have completed three yearstenure at one place <strong>of</strong> posting will be eligible for transfer on need based basiswherever requiredon administrative grounds.9. Selected candidate will have to submit a certificate <strong>of</strong> his/her fitness froma Government authorized/registered <strong>Medical</strong> Practitioner. Women candidatepregnant beyond 12 weeks will stand temporarily unfit till the confinement is over.


The women candidate will be re-examined for the fitness from Governmentauthorized/registered <strong>Medical</strong> practitioner.10 .Contractual appointee will be entitled for TAIDA if required to go on tour inconnection with his/her <strong>of</strong>ficial duties at the same rate as applicable to regular<strong><strong>Ayurved</strong>ic</strong> <strong>Medical</strong> Officer at the Minimum <strong>of</strong> Pay Scale.11. The selected candidate shall have to submit a declaration to the effect thathe /she has not/shall not have more than one living spouse/shall not marry aperson who has a living spouse.12. The selected candidate shall have to produce the character certificatefrom 1st Class Magistrate and on oath <strong>of</strong> allegiance /faithfulness to theConstitution <strong>of</strong> India or making sale affirmation to that effect while joining theservice.13. If the degree/any related document(s) <strong>of</strong> any selected candidate(s) is/arefound fake at the time, his services shall automatically stand terminated andhe/she shall be liable for penal action under the law.14. The selected candidates have to sign an agreement <strong>of</strong> his /her contractappointment with the Employer before joining the service.15. The appointment shall be subject to medical fitness from a <strong>Medical</strong> Boardconstituted by the Government <strong>of</strong> <strong>Himachal</strong> Pradesh for this purpose at Zonal &Distt. Hospitals. If the above terms and conditions are acceptable to him, heshould report for duty at his respective place <strong>of</strong> posting on or before20 t \September,2013 after getting <strong>Medical</strong> fitness Certificate from <strong>Medical</strong> Boardi.e. C.M.O concerned to District <strong><strong>Ayurved</strong>ic</strong> Officer concerned failing which the<strong>of</strong>fer shall stand automatically cancelled/withdrawn. the prescribed form with the relevant documents including the attestation forms,in original, which may please be retained in the personal files <strong>of</strong> the concernedcandidate. He is requested to accept the joining <strong>of</strong> these contractual AMOs aftercompleting all codal formalities to the satisfaction <strong>of</strong> the appointing authority afterchecking Iverifying all the original documents <strong>of</strong> the candidate and if anydiscrepancy or possibility <strong>of</strong> misrepresentation or fraud is noticed the <strong>of</strong>fer <strong>of</strong>appointment may be withheld and the matter may be brought to the notice <strong>of</strong> theGovernment. The Annual Assessment report on the working <strong>of</strong> the contractualAMO for the period <strong>of</strong> two years from the date assigning the duties in theDepartment may also be sent to the this Department.3.
