1. Eligibility: Girls and boys born in 1990 or after, who are members of a golf club in Germany that
is member in the DGV or a golf club of any other foreign country associated to its
national Golf Union / Federation / Association.

Up to 12 boys and 6 girls will enter the championship through qualifying competitions
in golf clubs in Germany.
Girls -6.9
Boys -2.9
If there are more than 50 entries for girls and 100 entries for boys, girls and boys with
the highest handicap will be eliminated. Players of the same handicap will be
eliminated by ballot.
54 holes of stroke play
Friday, 1 st Round 18 holes
Saturday 2 nd Round 18 holes
Sunday, 3 rd Round 18 holes
For the 3 rd round qualify:
The girls with the best 20 and ties over the first 36 holes.
The boys with the best 40 and ties over the first 36 holes.
In the event of a tie for first place the winner will be decided by a hole by hole playoff.
For the remaining classification the better score for the last 36 holes counts,
thereafter the last 18 holes. If then there is still a tie, the 9 holes, thereafter the 6
holes, thereafter the 3 holes, thereafter the last hole, thereafter the ballot.
The winning girl will become “German Girls Open Champion, 2008”
The winning boy will become “German Boys Open Champion, 2008”
Eligible for play of the Nations Cup are teams of two or three players, who entered
the competition before closing date and have been named by their National
Association/Federation/Union either in advance to the DGV office or during the
practise day until 03:00 p.m. in the golf club.
Each country may enter up to two boys teams and two girls teams.
36 holes stroke-play teams event
Thursday, 1 st round 18 holes:
Friday, 2 nd round 18 holes:
The two best scores of each team for the first and second round will count. In the
event of a tie the best team score of round two counts, thereafter the best individual
score of round two counts, thereafter the non-considered counting score of player
three of round two, thereafter the ballot decides.
The tees to be played will be announced before the practice round.

Amateur status and exact handicap have to be certified by the golf club or National
Association/Federation/Union. Foreign players may pay the entrance fee upon
registration.
No entrance will be refunded unless intimation of scratching is received before the
closing date for entries except for any entrant who may be balloted out.
Players who are a member of a golf club affiliated to the DGV enter and pay their
entrance fee for the championship online at www.golf.de/dgv only.
The championship is played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by
the R & A and the Local Rules for the competition.
The “DGV-Vorgabensystem” (Handicap-System) and the general DGV - conditions of
competition apply for the tournament.
In case of doubt the German version of all conditions is decisive.
The Committee reserves the right to alter the conditions.

10. Registration: All Players must register at the Golfclub at the day before the championship until
04.00 p.m.
11. Note:
A competitor who does not register up to this date and time is liable to be withdrawn
from the championship. If a player is unable to register in person, a registration by
another person, via fax, e-mail or telephone will be accepted.

Registration
All participants must register at the Golf Club St. Leon-Rot
Registration deadline: Thursday, June 5 th , 2008 by 4:00 p.m.
Competitors who do not register by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 th , 2008 will not be
permitted to participate in the tournament.
If you are unable to register in person, you may fax or e-mail your registration.
Participation fee: € 80.00 per person
Trolleys
Trolleys are available and will be given to you “free of charge” at check-in.
Foreign players have the first option.
Please make reservations in advance.
Practice balls
Tokens may be purchased at the tournament office for the cost of € 2,50- (60 balls).

Posted on the information board, located at the clubhouse office.

Will be provided by the starter.
Golf Bag Storage and keys for lockers
Golf bags can be stored at your own risk in the caddy house next to the clubhouse.
Lockers
A few lockers are available; keys will be handed out at the secretary’s office in the
clubhouse. A key deposit will be required: € 20.00
Dress Code
Shirt with collar and LONG trousers - Jeans are strictly prohibited!
Shoes with soft spikes must be worn

How to reach the golf course:
If you are travelling from Frankfurt Airport:
Autobahn A5 direction Basel until the Kreuz Walldorf – junction, change to
the A6 direction Heilbronn. Take the exit Wiesloch-Rauenberg.
If you are travelling from Stuttgart Airport:
Autobahn A81 direction Heilbronn. Change to the A6 direction Mannheim.
After that take the exit Wiesloch-Rauenberg.
If you are travelling from Basel:
Autobahn A5 direction Mannheim / Frankfurt until the Kreuz Walldorf – junction.
Change to A6 direction Heilbronn. Take the exit Wiesloch-Rauenberg.
If you are travelling from Heilbronn and take the Wiesloch-Rauenberg exit:
Follow the signs to Walldorf.
After approximately 1.5 km, turn right at the 2 nd set of traffic lights
Take the B 3 – direction Bruchsal.
At the 3 rd set of traffic lights, turn right direction St. Leon-Rot.
Take the 3 rd street on the left into Gewerbepark St. Leon-Rot (business park)
Continue to the end of the Opelstrasse 30.
