17(vi)If any <strong>of</strong> the information given by the applicant found to beincorrect, his permit will be cancelled and he shall beprosecuted as per law.If the number <strong>of</strong> applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteriaincluding driving license <strong>of</strong> heavy <strong>transport</strong> vehicle are morethan the route permits available for allotment, in that case,allotment shall be made through an open draw <strong>of</strong> lots followinga transparent procedure from amongst such eligible applicants.However, if sufficient number <strong>of</strong> the applicants fulfill thecondition <strong>of</strong> having a HTV licence eligibility, then the applicants who holda Light Transport Vehicle driving license and have applied for a HTVlicence at the time <strong>of</strong> application and he obtains a HTV licencewithin one year <strong>of</strong> allotment and he fulfill all other eligibilityconditions. The L.T.V. license should have been issued at least 2 yearsprior to the date <strong>of</strong> Notification and should be valid on the date <strong>of</strong>Notification. If however such an applicant who is allotted a permit underthis scheme fails to obtain an HTV licence within 1 year <strong>of</strong> the allotment,his permit shall be cancelled:. Provided that in case <strong>of</strong> registered <strong>transport</strong> co-operativeSociety each member <strong>of</strong> the Society shall have to fulfill the eligibilitycriteria except that if only one <strong>of</strong> the members has a valid requisitedriving license to drive a heavy vehicle, the Society shall be consideredeligible.18. Reservation.- The reservation shall be as per the reservation <strong>policy</strong><strong>of</strong> the State <strong>Government</strong>. The <strong>Government</strong> <strong>of</strong> the State may reserve certainpercentage <strong>of</strong> the Stage Carriage permits for the Scheduled Caste, BackwardClass, Ex-Serviceman and other categories.The aim <strong>of</strong> the reservation is to provide adequate opportunities to all thesections <strong>of</strong> the Society both to contribute to the <strong>transport</strong> sector as well as tobenefit from the economic opportunities <strong>of</strong>fered by the sector.19. Applicability.-(i)(ii)(iii)(iv)The <strong>policy</strong> shall be applicable on intra district routes only.However in order to provide connectivity to a market yard,mandi, hospital, school or college etc. the route may extend tothe neighbouring district.The holders <strong>of</strong> the route permit under the <strong>policy</strong> shall have toply Stage Carriage Vehicles having seating capacity <strong>of</strong> 52persons in case <strong>of</strong> full body buses and up to seating capacity <strong>of</strong>32 persons in case <strong>of</strong> mini buses.No inter State route shall be granted to the private operator inthis <strong>policy</strong> except the permission to use corridor not more than10 Kms. in a neighbouring State.The applicant shall apply on the application form prescribed bythe Department which can be purchased from STC <strong>of</strong>fice or<strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the Secretary RTA <strong>of</strong> the concerned district.
