The main goal of this entry project stage was to implementsome applications as pilot examples that could inspire other workplaces andother applications. In the initial project stage, we created a remote education support system concept, only in the local conditions of the Department of Telecommunication Engineeringof the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering(Katedra telekomunikační techniky ČVUT v Praze, FEL) for the timebeing. We considered various eventualities in terms of the workplace location, its technology, software, and knowledge of the workers involved.13.1.1 Creation of Multimedia Didactic ProductsFor creating a pilot online course, we chose the topic called Safety and HealthProtection by Work in FEE Laboratories (SHPW). This program does not makeuse of multimedia elements because of its content character. It is, however, complemented with a component that allows testing of students’ knowledge. The program can generally be used for the purposes of SHPW training, whichforms a part of compulsory content of initial seminars in laboratories with electricalequipment. In the current academic year, we have been using the programin several courses at the Department of Telecommunication Engineering. In addition, we have created a pilot example of a specialized online multimediacourse, the use of which is characteristic for a more specific scope of study. Wechose the topic entitled ISDN Protocols. For this topic, we processed the contentof chapters, scenarios of individual pages with the possibility to potentially uti-High-speed National Research Network and its New Applications 2002153
