we discovered that one of the partners, the 4Plus company, is not able to contributeto the project with the development and manufacture of the high-speedmonitoring adapter, based on the specification prepared during the project,which was originally promised.Other members of the consortium have to deal with the risen situation. One ofthe alternatives is to use existing DAG adapters produced by Endace. A morepromising alternative seems to be to adapt the routing card for IPv6, which iscurrently being developed by our colleagues from Masaryk University in Brno,within the 6NET IST project.During 2002, three meetings of researchers took place: in Leiden in April, inKristiansand in July, and in Prague in October.12.7 2003 Plan2003 will be the key year for the SCAMPI project activities. The D3.2 deliverable,for which CESNET is responsible, must be completed by the end of March. Atthat time, planned tests organized by CESNET will start as well.For January 2003, the first SCAMPI workhop is planned, where results obtainedso far will be published.If the alternative of developing the adapter on the basis of the IPv6 HW router isaccepted, the involvement of CESNET in the SCAMPI project work will increasesubstantially in the next year.
