The progress <strong>and</strong> success in<strong>for</strong>mation of the center will be illustratedthrough <strong>10</strong> year anniversary VPHCAP Exhibition. Our VPHCAP alumni from over <strong>10</strong>countries are invited to join the “VPHCAP alumni meeting”. The agenda would be apossible joint activity <strong>and</strong> the contribution of this network to ASEAN. Part B: Part C:The 3 rd Food Safety <strong>and</strong> Zoonoses Symposium <strong>for</strong> Asia PacificDuration: July 3-5, 2013This symposium will <strong>call</strong> abstract <strong>for</strong> oral or poster presentation with a peer-review fullpaper proceeding. Speakers <strong>and</strong> participants who are interested in public healthincluding food safety, food <strong>and</strong> water-borne disease, emerging infectious diseases <strong>and</strong>other vector-borne or zoonotic disease are welcomed. Keynote speakers will be invitedto each session.The 1 st Regional Eco<strong>Health</strong> (EH) Symposium; Social <strong>and</strong>Environmental Dynamic on Human <strong>and</strong> Animal <strong>Health</strong>Duration: July 6, 2013The Eco<strong>Health</strong>-One<strong>Health</strong> Resource centre, Chiang Mai University would like tocelebrate this event with VPHCAP through the 1 st Eco<strong>Health</strong> symposium. Thisconference will <strong>call</strong> <strong>for</strong> abstract <strong>for</strong> posters <strong>and</strong> oral presentations, which the fullpapers will be published in the same proceeding. Outst<strong>and</strong>ing experts will be invited to<strong>for</strong> a panel discussion on an EH related topic. Researchers <strong>and</strong> students who areinterested onto Ecosystem approaches addressing human, animal <strong>and</strong> environmentalhealth are invited would be keen to participate in this event.


Theme <strong>and</strong> topics <strong>for</strong> abstract submissionThis <strong>call</strong> is to invite <strong>abstracts</strong> to be presented as oral or poster presentation at the 2013 Conference, with theobjective of fostering such collaboration <strong>and</strong> communication across disciplines to better address the control<strong>and</strong> the consequences of emerging <strong>and</strong> re-emerging infectious diseases which link to the human–animal–ecosystems interfaces, <strong>and</strong> to provide insights into factors which lead to zoonotic transmission.Guideline <strong>for</strong> abstract submission The Authors should submit their abstract follow the abstract <strong>for</strong>mat toconferencevphcap@gmail.com be<strong>for</strong>e 15 May 2013. Please download guideline <strong>for</strong> abstractThe abstract should contain no more 1500 words; include the brief study designs <strong>and</strong> results.Importantly, the abstract has not been present in any international conference or proceeding.The <strong>abstracts</strong> will be peer-reviewed by the committee <strong>and</strong> the accepted abstract will be announcedon 17 May 2013. The full papers of each accepted abstract is required to submit on 24 May 2013 bythe corresponding authors.The abstract should follow themes on 5 overall topics related to One<strong>Health</strong> or Eco<strong>Health</strong>approaches1. The winning study will bejudged by the professional committees <strong>and</strong> conference participants.The poster session is asinteresting as oral presentation, as more details can be discussed in a longer period of time.
