New Nordic Food and the Baltic Culinary RouteAnnex 4Programme for New Nordic FoodAt the Nordic-Baltic Ministerial meeting the 7 - 8 November 2006 inJevnaker, Norway, the Nordic-Baltic Ministers got an introduction to bothNew Nordic Food and to the Baltic Culinary Route.Since the Ministerial meeting there has been several contacts betweenthe Baltic Countries and the Nordic Countries as well as a meetingbetween the Agricultural Ministry in Estonia and the Nordic Council ofMinisters Secretariat in relation to the two Food programmes.The Secretariat will it the meeting give an update about the New NordicFood Programme, and it is suggested that one of the Baltic countries , fx.Estonia give an update on the Baltic Culinary Route project.ProposalThe secretariat proposes, that the members of CSO NB8 Agriculture• Take note of the information given.• Share experiences of the two programmes.• Discuss and maybe identify areas of mutual interests and possiblefuture cooperation.7. International issuesAll Members and the Secretariat are requested to give information aboutinternational seminars, conferences and other international events ofrelevance.8.
