Functional unit descriptionThe aim of the traditional functional unit architecture is to propose a solution offering a traditionalhard wired solution, without any fieldbus, to be used to connect motors and sensors. It clearlytargets projects with cost constraints or with a low level of expertise.In this case, instrumentation, motors and valves are directly connected to the digital and analogI/O modules.
