With the lifting axle you not only reduce the roll resistance and fuel consumption on empty runs but alsothe tyre wear when cornering and manoeuvring. Lifting the first axle also functions as a starting aid. Axle unitswith two lifting axles are equipped with this additional function as a standard series feature.The optional steering axle increases the cost economy when driving.
