(03/2012) Page 77MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT #2RE: EXCLUDED POSITIONSThe parties agree on a "without prejudice" basis that the following positions shall be excluded from thebargaining unit, as previously excluded by mutual agreement between the parties.General Manager (1)Quality Assurance Specialist (1±1)Department Manager (5±5)Client <strong>Service</strong>s Manager (1±1)Office Manager/Human Resources (1±1)Customer <strong>Service</strong> Representative I, II, III (5±5)Technical Sales Representative I, II, III (2±2)Quality Assurance Assistant (1±1)IT Specialist (1±1)MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT #3RE: JOB SHARINGThis Memor<strong>and</strong>um of Agreement is from the date of signing through the term of this Collective Agreement,April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2012, <strong>and</strong> can be renewed by agreement in succeeding agreements.The total number of job sharing arrangements shall not exceed six (6) at any one (1) time. The followingoutlines the criteria under which job sharing may occur.1. Job Sharing CriteriaJob sharing proposals may be considered where one (1) of the partners proposing the job sharingarrangement already occupies the regular full-time position under consideration <strong>and</strong> has completedtwo (2) years of satisfactory service. The second partner must have completed two (2) years ofsatisfactory service, must be at the same classification level or higher than the proposed job shareposition, must currently occupy a regular position, <strong>and</strong> must be qualified to perform the duties of theposition, without additional training. Both partners must be performing their current jobssatisfactorily.2. Job Sharing ProposalsJob sharing proposals must include the following details:• A written statement signed by both partners requesting part-time employment in order to jobshare as outlined in the proposal;• Information on the qualifications <strong>and</strong> experience of the proposed partner (the one not currentlyholding the proposed shared position);• A copy of the partner’s most recent performance appraisal;• A description of how job duties <strong>and</strong> responsibilities may be shared;• Details on what arrangements the partners will make to share necessary information with eachother, with clients, with colleagues <strong>and</strong> with the supervisor;• A proposal of how workload priorities will be determined by the partners on an ongoing basis;• Preferred start date;• Preferred work schedule.3. Procedures for Approval of Job SharingRequests for job sharing arrangements will be forwarded to the appropriate member of managementwith a copy to Human Resources. The job sharing proposal will be reviewed <strong>and</strong> approved by theEmployer. If approved, the job share will be confirmed in writing by appointing the job sharing
