New Chamber Manager

• Beijing welcomes Ms. Katja Sassi-
Bucsit as the Chamber’s new Executive
Manager. She has recently worked in
management positions at the Beijing
Goethe-Institut and at SportsMark
Event Management. Ms. Katrin Loch
has moved on to new challenges in her career. We thank Ms.
Loch for her outstanding service and wish both ladies the best
of luck for the new tasks they face.

German Chamber Welcomes New
Consul General
As of 26 th August, Mr. Eberhard
Schuppius is the new Consul General
of Germany in Guangzhou. The
German Chamber of Commerce welcomes
Mr. Schuppius who was previously
stationed as German Ambassador
in Riga, Latvia, before coming
to South China. Guangzhou huanying
nin!
At the same time, the GCC expresses its gratitude to his predecessor,
Mr. Friedrich-Carl Bruns for the excellent cooperation
over the past three years. Bonne chance à Bordeaux!
