SystemWAREMAWMS Central transmitter9.2 CommissioningNOTEThe [Commissioning] menu is used to execute all major commissioning functions:Learn actuators and sensors in and outLearn hand-held transmitters and central transmitters in and outLearn actuators and sensors out by entering the serial numberLoad the factory settingsDelete the routing tables of the participating devices in the networkChange the radio channel for all devices in the networkThe [Commissioning] menu can only be opened after you authorise yourselfas a specialist dealer by entering a password (see Chapter 9.4 on page 117).9.2.1 Leaning actuators/sensors in/outBefore WMS devices can be operated, they must be included as a device inthe respective radio network. The central transmitter can detect WMS receiversand sensors and add them to its network.CAUTIOWhen learning in, it is important that you select the product type of theconnected product. Selection of the wrong product type can lead tomalfunctions and may result in damage to the connected product.NOTENOTEOnce the product type has been selected, it can no longer be changed directly.To program a WMS Plug receiver for another product type, the receivermust be deleted out of the network entirely and learned in again.Some devices (e.g. sensors) first need to be woken up by pressing a buttonso that they can be found by the central transmitter during scanning.9.2.1.1 Learning in actuators/sensorsProceed as follows to learn in actuators and sensors.Main menu System Commissioning Learn in/out actuators/sensorsbuttonAction/resultIn the main menu, select the [System] menu and press ok.The [System] menu opens.Select the [Commissioning] menu here and press ok.The [Commissioning] menu opens.96We reserve the right to carry out improvements890405_0•en•01.11.2009

If the device has already beenlearned in, the button is activated for learning out adevice.Using the selection cursor, select the device that you wish tolearn in.To check which device is currently selected, press thebutton.
