CommissioningWAREMAWMS Central transmitter3.3 WMS CentraltransmitterTo commission the WMS Central transmitter, simply insert the supplied rechargeablebatteries.Open the battery compartment on the back of the WMS Central transmitter.Insert the two supplied batteries. Note the correct polarity.Reattach the battery compartment cover.Remove the protective film from the surface on the front of the WMS Centraltransmitter.The batteries are precharged. Place the WMS Central transmitter into thecharging station to fully charge the batteries.When the batteries are fully charged, the battery symbol in the header permanentlydisplays three green bars .Fig. 3The back of the WMS Central transmitterNOTEBattery compartment:The two supplied batteries are inserted in the battery compartment. You canalso use two AA batteries (IEC LR 6, "Mignon"). The WMS Central transmitterautomatically detects whether batteries or rechargeable batteries are inplace.We recommend operating the equipment with the supplied rechargeable batteriessince commercially available batteries have a short life.Charging contacts:When the WMS Central transmitter is placed in the charging station, theconnected power supply unit supplies the central transmitter with power viathese contacts. The presentation of all setting steps and measuringvalues is provided in plain text in a clearly arranged display window, simplyreferred to as "Display" in this document.
