Kentucky coach John Calipari is now an empty­-nester.
But his arms and the door to the Wildcat home is wide

players The good new for Calipari is that Anthony
Davis, Michael Kidd­-Gilchrist, Marquis Teague,
Terrence Jones and Doron Lamb are leaving home
with job offers. "This is a players­-first program,"
Calipari said about the five players from his NCAA title
team moving on. "During the season, it's about the
team. ... When the season is over, it's about moments
like this." Guys we hardly knew ye. Now we have to
find out if national recruits Nerlens Noel, Alex
Poythress, Archie Goodwin and Willie Cauley can fill
your Nikes. And of course the over 90% of rebounds
and scoring that departing players (including seniors
Darius Miller and Eloy Vargas) provided. The future if
promised to no one but it appears that Kentucky fans
have something to build on. What happens to the
Wildcat program now? While we wait on the rebuild,
