<strong>AE64.3A</strong> Gas Turbine combustion chamber tiles and turbine bladesA quick-start Gas Turbine for more flexibilityAnsaldo Energia’s <strong>AE64.3A</strong> is a quick start gasturbine: full speed is reached in less than 5 minutesand baseload conditions about 20 minuteslater. Fast-loading gradient procedures can reducethis time to about 15 minutes.The <strong>AE64.3A</strong> was the first annular gas turbine inthe world to be operated in fuel gas premix modeacross the entire load range, including GT run upto full speed no load. This important achievementsignificantly improves operations, because it greatlysimplifies the management of load rejectionand transient modes in general, as well as improvingthe ability to provide grid support from anyload.
