Pre-Billed Laboror Retainers<strong>Unanet</strong> customer in New York, NY•Commercial IT services sector.For general IT services, the Client pays a fixed amount up-front that willrepresent a number of hours of work at a negotiated billable rate.•For example, the client wants 50 hours of service at $250/hour•The retainer is setup as $12500 in services.•The client pays $12500 up front <strong>and</strong> continues to schedule services as needed.An initial invoice is created for the $12500 retainer.•In each subsequent month, a new invoice is issued that shows the amount billed in that period,the amount billed to date <strong>and</strong> the total amount of retainer remaining.•When the retainer is exhausted, a new retainer is negotiated.Copyright © 2011 <strong>Unanet</strong> <strong>Technologies</strong>29
