The CustodianThe Custodian of the ILP Sub-Fund is BNY Mellon, which is located at 1Temasek Avenue #03-01 Millenia Tower Singapore 039192.KEY RISKSWHAT ARE THE KEY RISKS OF THIS INVESTMENT?Investors should consider and satisfy themselves as to the risks of investing inthe ILP Sub-Fund. Generally, some of the risk factors that should beconsidered are economic, political, market, repatriation, regulatory, currency,derivatives, interest rate and credit risks.An investment in the ILP Sub-Fund is meant to produce returns over the longterm.Investors should not expect to obtain short-term gains from suchinvestment. Investors should note that the value of units, and the incomeaccruing to the units, may fall or rise and that investors may not get back theiroriginal investment.Market and Credit RisksYou are exposed to Market Risks.The price of units and the income from them may go down as well as up inresponse to changes in interest rates, foreign exchange, economic and politicalconditions and the earnings of corporations whose securities are comprised inthe portfolio of the ILP Sub-Fund.You are exposed to Currency Risks.As the investments of the ILP Sub-Fund may be denominated in foreigncurrencies, fluctuations of the exchange rates of foreign currencies against thebase currency of the ILP Sub-Fund may affect the value of the units in the ILPSub-Fund.You are exposed to Political and Credit Risks.The ILP Sub-Fund is invested in debt obligations of governments andcompanies globally. Adverse changes in the country or company may causethe ILP Sub-Fund to suffer a loss of interest or principal on any of its holdingsof such debt.Liquidity RisksThe ILP Sub-Fund is not listed and you can redeem only on Dealing Days.There is no secondary market for the ILP Sub-Fund. All redemption requestsshould be made to the Singapore Representative or its agents. The liquidity ofthe ILP Sub-Fund may be limited if a significant portion of the assets of theILP Sub-Fund is to be sold to meet redemptions requests on a short timeframe. During this period, the portfolio allocation may be modified toprioritize liquidity.Product Specific RisksYou are exposed to Derivatives Risks.The ILP Sub-Fund may invest in financial derivative instruments for hedgingpurposes or for the purpose of efficient portfolio management. While thejudicious use of derivatives by professional investment managers can bebeneficial, derivatives involve risks different from, and, in some cases, greaterthan, the risks presented by more traditional securities investments.Refer to the “RISKS” sectionof the Fund Details for furtherinformation on risksPRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS SHEETYou are exposed to Issuer Risk.The value of a security may decline for a number of reasons which directlyrelate to the issuer, such as management performance, financial leverage andreduced demand for the issuer’s goods and services.You are exposed to Interest Rate Risk.As interest rates rise, the value of fixed income securities is likely to decrease.Securities with longer durations tend to be more sensitive to changes ininterest rates, usually making them more volatile than securities with shorterdurations.


VALUATIONS AND EXITING FROM THIS INVESTMENTHOW OFTEN ARE VALUATIONS AVAILABLE?The ILP Sub-Fund will be valued on each Dealing Day.The prices of Units are based on forward pricing and will be available on thenext business day in Singapore.The prices are published in major newspaper circulating in Singapore everybusiness day. The prices are also available on <strong>Great</strong> <strong>Eastern</strong>'s website atwww.greateasternlife.com.Refer to the“SUBSCRIPTION /REDEMPTION OF UNITS”section and “FREE LOOK”section of the ProductSummary for furtherinformation on valuation andexiting from the ILP Sub-Fund.HOW CAN YOU EXIT FROM THIS INVESTMENT AND WHAT ARETHE RISKS AND COSTS IN DOING SO?You may sell some or all units in the ILP Sub-Fund you have invested in atany time. If you sell some, the minimum value of units withdrawn and thevalue of remaining units in each ILP Sub-Fund after withdrawal should be atleast S$1,000. The total value of all the remaining units in all the ILP Sub-Funds should also be at least S$1,000. Otherwise, the policy must besurrendered in full.You will be subject to redemption fee charge, if any, when you sell the units inthe ILP Sub-Fund. Please refer to the Fees and Charges section above.Currently, there’s no redemption fee charge.The policy may be cancelled by written request to the Company within thefree-look period of 14 days after the Policyholder has received the PolicyDocument in which case premiums paid less medical fees incurred inassessing the risk will be refunded. The Company will be allowed to make anadjustment to reflect the change in market value of the underlying assets.Upon the receipt and acceptance of your withdrawal request, the proceedsshall be paid out to you within 4 Business Days (or such other period as maybe allowed by the Authority) in the case of an ILP Sub-Fund which is a bondfund or money market fund, and 6 Business Days (or such other period as maybe allowed by the Authority) in the case of an ILP Sub-Fund which is not abond fund or money market fund, unless dealings has been suspended.If you submit the redemption order before 12pm on a business day, you willbe paid a price based on the net asset value (NAV) of the ILP Sub-Fund at theclose of the business day.
