PRELIMINARYSpectral camerasLWIRSPECIM presents its thermal hyperspectral cameras in theLWIR region 8 to 14 μm. Three camera models have beenspecially designed to meet diverse requirements in industrial,research and security applications.Spectral Camera LWIR with uncooled detectorSPECIM´s LWIR Spectral Cameras arepush-broom type line scan cameras thatprovide full, contiguous hyperspectraldata for each pixel along the imaged line.To respond to a wide range of applicationsand requirements, SPECIM has developed 3models of LWIR Spectral Cameras: HS and HR(with uncooled detectors), and C (with cooleddetector).hs and hr modelsSpectral Cameras LWIR HS and HR integrate anuncooled detector and optics. They are compact(only 2.5kg) and versatile tools for a wide varietyof applications.HS (high sensitivity model) covers thespectral range 8-12 μm. It has 30 spectral bandsand spectral sampling of 200 nm. With a goodsensitivity and moderate spectral resolution,HS is suitable for many industrial and ChemicalImaging applications.HR (high resolution model) covers therange 8-14 μm and is designed for applicationsthat require high spectral resolution. With spectralsampling of 70 nm and 85 bands, HR is a highperformance solution for applications wherethe targets emit higher than normal ambienttemperatures or where an IR source is used toilluminate the sample. Application examplesinclude gas emission analysis and infraredChemical Imaging.c modelFor the most demanding ground-based remotesensing and security applications, SPECIMhas integrated a state-of-the-art temperaturestabilized LWIR imaging spectrograph with thehighest sensitivity cooled MCT detector.
