Hydraulic system5.2 Adjusting the hydraulic systemThe operator-friendly hydraulic system of the rotarytedder must be adapted to the tractor and is designedfor continuous circulation. The system is adapted by adjusting the hydraulicsystem screw on the solenoid valve unit. The block islocated on the front left of the rotary swather frameunder the protective box.The adjustment is dependent on thehydraulic system of the tractor andmust be made when the system on theloading wagon is in a non-pressurisedstate.21 LSSW1400-002Screw out the system screw (1) to its end stop if:– the tractor has a standard hydraulic system (pumpconstant)– the tractor has an LS pump and non-activated loadsensingsystemCaution: Loosen the counter nut to make theadjustment; then tighten it again. This adjustment is carried out by workspersonnel.Screw in the system screw (1) to its end stop if:– the tractor has a closed hydraulic system (e.g JohnDeere)– the tractor has an LS pump and a connected signalcableCaution: Loosen the counter nut to make theadjustment; then tighten it again.5.2.1 Emergency manual operationIf there is a breakdown of the electrical system or thesolenoid valves, operation of the control and directionalcontrol valves can be carried out mechanically. In the case of control valves, the pipework is releasedby screwing in the regulating screw. In the case ofdirectional control valves, the release for manualoperation in the desired direction is given by pressingin the solenoid plunger using a pointed object. The required combination of actuator and way valveactivation is described below in the operatinginstructions.V - 2
