Effectively manage the delivery of creative, modern, active learning for each individualstudent within your class including appropriate support where necessary.2. To deliver initial assessment and induction of learners.3. Ensure your own personal development so that your learning materials, strategies andpersonal knowledge of your subject are current.4. Regularly attend and contribute to departmental team meetings.5. Accurately maintain the agreed system for dealing with curriculum information.6. Deliver an agreed number of student contact hours.7. 8. Where applicable, to progress towards a recognised teaching qualification including theCPD requirements of IfL.9. Continuously demonstrate a commitment towards further professional developmentincluding in the application of new technologies to improve the effectiveness of learningmanagement.10. To assist with the recruitment and interviewing of learners including the provision ofobjective advice and guidance.11. Maintain up to date accurate registers which reflect the current student profile.12. To guide learners in target setting and learner contracting and to track and monitorprogress against targets.13. Liaising with examinations department, moderators/verifiers to ensure compliance withawarding body requirements, including undertaking internal verification if required.Tutorial Support14. Support high levels of achievement and progression through formative personal tutorsupport using effective Individual Learning Plans.15. To receive and act on learner feedback.16. To help ensure all <strong>College</strong> regulations and policies are upheld and instigate learnerdisciplinary procedures where necessary.Curriculum Development17. Liaise with any relevant awarding bodies and contribute in a positive way.19. Contribute to the effective and efficient management of the overall course programme.20.
