Message from the Activity DirectorThe Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dermatology</strong> at the <strong>American</strong> <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Beirut</strong> is pleased to <strong>of</strong>fer its first<strong>Board</strong> <strong>Review</strong> course <strong>in</strong> <strong>Dermatology</strong> to all dermatology residents <strong>in</strong> the Arab countries and the region.This 2-day course is a fully-illustrated, note-packed volume <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>formation <strong>in</strong> dermatology and thedermatosciences and fulfills a real need for a s<strong>in</strong>gle study guide for the exams <strong>of</strong> the Arab <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong><strong>Dermatology</strong>. The purpose <strong>of</strong> this course to provide a comprehensive dermatologic board review to helpparticipants <strong>in</strong> their preparation for the Arab <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dermatology</strong> certification and re-certification.This <strong>Board</strong> <strong>Review</strong> <strong>Course</strong> is a comprehensive regimen that is similar <strong>in</strong> its content to thecurriculum <strong>of</strong> the Arab <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dermatology</strong>. It is meant to provide a consummate review <strong>of</strong> possibletopics that may <strong>in</strong>variably be featured <strong>in</strong> the exam. <strong>Dermatology</strong> topics to be discussed <strong>in</strong>clude basicscience, drug metabolism, cutaneous manifestations <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>ternal disease, hair and nail disorders, pediatricdermatology, dermatopathology and more.ObjectivesAs a result <strong>of</strong> attend<strong>in</strong>g this course, the participants will be able to:1.
