Offering world-class performing arts in a st<strong>at</strong>e-<strong>of</strong>-<strong>the</strong>-art facility, <strong>the</strong> opening marked adefining moment for arts <strong>and</strong> culture in <strong>the</strong> Washington, D.C. region. The woodwork displays <strong>the</strong>instruments used in <strong>the</strong> musical piece.
