The shift of FCdr. from DEto ES is 6 December 20<strong>11</strong>.The Trial phase duration is estimated as 3-3.5months. The time frame is required to beplanned and coordinated with the acting nationFCdr.There is not yet fixed time slot for the Trial.Please take into consideration that due to thefact that DE to ES handover is scheduled06/12/20<strong>11</strong>, the main target remains SProtation. However, more than one monthoverlapping of the Trial Period is expected withthe next FCdr. FR rotation.The Kick-Off-Meeting will be organized in threeweeks following the entry into force of thecontract. Location oftraining needs to take into account, the need foron-board training with rendevous at other portse.g. Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, Salalah and PortVictoria (Seychelles) in the Area of Operationother than just Djibouti.5 Is it possible to get the actual trainingmaterial about LOGFAS from the NCIS-School Latina?6 Which SOP’s are in scope of the projectand could you name the SOP’s?7 Will EDA provides the hardware (clientsand servers) for the trial phase?8 Will EDA provides the software licensesfor the trial phase?The Contractor will have to provide all thetraining personnel, equipment and facilities. Inaddition, the on-board training and all othertraining at ASA will require initial agreement andcoordination with the FCdr of OperationalATALANTA.Please note that this material cannot be releasedat this stage of the procedure. A copy of theLOGFAS tutorial and trainer’s guide may be madeavailable to the future Contractor under strictconfidentiality rules.In scope are the SOPs for Logistic Reporting fromthe Units to the FCDr and from the FCDr to theOHQ.The Contractor will have to provide all thetraining personnel, equipment and facilities. Inaddition, the on-board training and all othertraining at ASA requires initial agreement andcoordination with the FCDr of OperationalATALANTA.The software is available free of charge fromNATO NCISS for EU organisations and EUnations. Assistance to obtain the software by thesuccessful bidder will be provided by EUMS andEDA.9 How many clients are necessary? The estimate for the required number of stationsis 8. (2 for ships, 1 for MPRA detachment, 1 forASA, 1 for FCDr, 1 for OHQ, 2 spare). Theestimate for the number of personnel to betrained is 13. (2 for each Unit/HQ plus 1 EUMSofficer)
