Such involvement shall be consistent with the maintenance of theintegrity of public archives and national and territorial heritage resources collections.Referenced Clauses: 26.2.4ACTIVITIES RESPONSIBILITY TIMING GUIDELINES(in sequence)1. Advise federal and territorial departments DIAND, IAA within three months ofof the provision in 26.2.2 that the STC besettlement legislationactively involved in the conservation andmanagement of Sahtu heritage resources,consistent with the maintenance of the integrityof public archives and national and territorialheritage resources collections2. ANNEX AProject 26 - 4:Project Manager:Participant/Liaison:Representation on any boards, agencies or committees established in theMackenzie Valley by government to administer or protect Sahtu heritageresourcesCanada, Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) - Education, Cultureand Employment (ECE)Sahtu Tribal Council (STC)Obligations Addressed:26.2.4 The Sahtu Tribal Council shall have an opportunity to be represented on any boards, agenciesor committees established in the Mackenzie Valley by government to administer or protectSahtu heritage resources. The Sahtu Tribal Council shall be consulted with respect to theimplementation of this provision prior to the establishment of any such board, agency orcommittee.Referenced Clauses: 26.2.2ACTIVITIES RESPONSIBILITY TIMING GUIDELINES(in sequence)1. Notify the STC that there is a proposal to government after settlementestablish a board, agency or committee inlegislationthe Mackenzie Valley by government toadminister or protect Sahtu heritageresources; provide the STC with a reasonableperiod of time to prepare its views on thematter; and provide the STC with anopportunity to present its views2.
