Participate as a full member in the STC, Coordinating Group after signing of this planCoordinating group struck pursuant to theGwich'in Implementation Plan to:- develop a framework which will allow forthe coordination and operation of thePlanning Board, the Review Board, theLand and Water Board, the RenewableResources Board and the Surface RightsBoard- make recommendations to government basedon the agreement, and the relevantimplementation plan, for the planning anddevelopment of legislation and to institutionswhich give effect to the land and waterregulation boardsPlanning Assumptions:- The Sahtu Tribal Council has participated as an observer in all of the deliberations of theCoordinating Group established pursuant to the Gwich'in Implementation Plan.- The Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act being developed by the Coordinating Group willfulfil the obligations of Chapter 25 of the Sahtu Dene and Metis agreement, including clause25.1.3(c).- It is assumed that the Sahtu Dene and Metis agreement and the accompanying Implementation Planwill be ratified and signed prior to the expiry of the mandate of the Coordinating Group.
