ANNEX AProject 22 - 4:Project Manager:Participant/Liaison:<strong>Sahtu</strong> Tribal Council involvement in a Nor<strong>the</strong>rn Accord on oil <strong>and</strong> gasdevelopmentGovernment of <strong>the</strong> Northwest Territories - Department of Energy, Mines <strong>and</strong>Petroleum Resources (EMPR)<strong>Sahtu</strong> Tribal Council (STC)Obligations Addressed:22.1.6 The Government of <strong>the</strong> Northwest Territories shall involve <strong>the</strong> participants in <strong>the</strong> development<strong>and</strong> implementation of any Nor<strong>the</strong>rn Accord on oil <strong>and</strong> gas development in <strong>the</strong> NorthwestTerritories which is negotiated pursuant to <strong>the</strong> enabling agreement, dated September 5, 1988,between Canada <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> Government of <strong>the</strong> Northwest Territories, or any o<strong>the</strong>r agreementunder which jurisdiction over minerals may be transferred from <strong>the</strong> Government of Canada to<strong>the</strong> Government of <strong>the</strong> Northwest Territories.ACTIVITIES RESPONSIBILITY TIMING GUIDELINES(in sequence)1.
