ANNEX AProject 19 - 5:Project Manager:Participant/Liaison:Boundary survey of Sahtu landsEnergy, Mines and Resources (EMR), Department of Indian Affairs and NorthernDevelopment (DIAND) - Northern Affairs Program (NAP)Sahtu Tribal Council (STC)Obligations Addressed:19.4.1 (c) The boundaries of Sahtu lands shall be surveyed when the Sahtu Tribal Council andgovernment agree that such surveys are required, or to avoid or resolve conflicts withanother title or interest holder, and may otherwise be surveyed at government's discretion.(d) Sahtu lands set out in schedules III and V of Appendix E shall be surveyed.Referenced Clauses: 19.4.2, 19.3.5(c), schedules III and V of Appendix EACTIVITIES RESPONSIBILITY TIMING GUIDELINES(in sequence)1. For the purpose of the initial survey program, Regional Surveyor, as soon as possibleidentify the boundaries of Sahtu land which Sahtu Tribal Council after land selection isare required to be surveyed to avoid conflictscompletedwith another title or interest holder2. For the purpose of the initial survey program, Regional Surveyor, as soon as possibleidentify the portions of a right of way that are NAP - Land Selection after land selection isused as the boundary of Sahtu lands Office completed3.
