Children attraditional camps have the option ofselecting their favorite activities from alist. Traditional camps are best forchildren who love to do a variety ofthings or who are easily preoccupied.Traditional camps can be day camps orsleep-away camps. Day camps permitchildren to partake in daily activitiesbut stay at home during the night.Sleep-away camps can last as long asa week or a month under thesupervision of an adult counselor.Specialized Summer Campsfocus their instruction on one activitylike dance or basketball. This type ofcamp is aimed toward children whowant to improve on their specializedactivity.
