The applicati<strong>on</strong> maybe submitted upto 31st October with a late fee asprescribed by the University. A candidate mayapply for admissi<strong>on</strong> to Ph.D. Course in not morethan two subjects i.e. main subject (in which he/she has passed his/her master degree) and theother is its allied subject. A list <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> allied subjectsduly recommended by the Deans committee andapproved by the Vice-Chancellor shall be placedat the University website. The number <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> predeterminedseats for admissi<strong>on</strong> to Ph.D. degreecourse in different subjects shall be notified <strong>on</strong> theUniversity website.6. The Departmental Ph.D. Committee shallc<strong>on</strong>sist <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> :(i) All the Pr<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>essors in a given department/instituteORThree senior most teachers having Ph. Every candidate shall submit his/ her progressreport annually from the date <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Ph.D. registrati<strong>on</strong>duly recommended by the Supervisor to theChairpers<strong>on</strong>/ Director <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the Department/ Institutefor approval <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the PGBOS. If the candidate doesnot submit the progress report c<strong>on</strong>tinuously, theDepartmental Ph.D. committee shall recommendhis/ her name for cancellati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Ph.D. registrati<strong>on</strong>to the PGBOS.NO CHANGE20.
