The VicePremier of the Executive Yuan serves concurrently as the Chairperson of CPC. In accordwith the government reform and innovation, CPC is reorganized as a department of theExecutive Yuan on January 1, 2012. The operating units of CPC reform as “the Departmentof Consumer Protection”, and the commissioners’ conference shift to “the ConsumerProtection Committee” on the basis of duty assignment.地 方 政 府 層 級Local GovernmentLevel直 轄 市 政 府 、 縣 ( 市 ) 政 府Municipalities and County/CityGovernments組 織 架 構 Structure of DCP本 處 分 設 綜 合 規 劃 科 、 督 導 協 調 科 、 消 費 者 保 護 官 一 科 及 消 費 者 保 護 官 二 科 , 預 算 員 額 40 名 。Under the Department of Consumer Protection, there are Planning Section,Supervision and Coordination Section, Consumer Ombudsmen First Section, andConsumer Ombudsmen Second Section. The number of regular staff shall be 40.行 政 院 消 費 者 保 護 會 召 集 人 由 行 政 院 副 院 長 擔 任 , 其 餘 委 員 包 括 中 央 部 會 首 長 、 全 國 性 消各 業 務 主 辦 單 位Executive Offices消 費 爭 議 調 解 委 員 會ConsumerDispute MediationCommittees消 費 者 服 務 中 心Consumer ServiceCenters消 費 者 保 護 官ConsumerOmbudsmen費 者 保 護 團 體 代 表 、 全 國 性 企 業 經 營 者 代 表 及 學 者 專 家 等 。The Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan will also serve as the convener of ConsumerProtection Committee. The other members include the heads of other centralgovernment agencies, the representatives of nation-wide consumer protection groups,the representatives of nation-wide business operators, and scholars, etc.89
