Policy6.3.1 If a case manager or adjudicator decides that further informationregarding an individual’s medical condition(s) or the individual’sresponse to, or compliance with, treatment, is necessary in order tomake a driver fitness determination, the case manager oradjudicator will request a medical assessment.6.3.2 If a case manager or adjudicator decides to request a medicalassessment, the case manager or adjudicator will review theguidelines regarding the use of assessments outlined in the relevantmedical condition chapter(s), and the policies outlined in thischapter, and decide which medical assessment(s) to request.
