The Canadian OphthalmologicalSociety notes that a driver who has recently lost the sight of an eye orstereoscopic vision may require a few months <strong>to</strong> recover the ability <strong>to</strong>judge distance accurately.For commercial drivers who lose stereoscopic depth perception afterbe<strong>in</strong>g licensed, a road test is required <strong>in</strong> order <strong>to</strong> confirm that they areable <strong>to</strong> compensate for the loss.275
