Various additionaloptical components can be attached to the T.I.M.M. and so the magnificationcan be increased until to the limit of the light diffraction.has no ocular, but produced a video image by an integrated CCD-Camera. Theimage can be displayed on a TV, video monitor or can be digitized by aframegrabber and displayed on a computer screen.The microscope is easy to use. At the end of the instrument is a knurled screw.By turning this screw to the right the magnification will increase and decreasewhen the scew is turned to the left. The focus will be set by adjusting theworking distance.

T.I.M.M. motorisedThe microscope can be motorised. Stepping- or DC-motors can be used to operate the microscope. The motor unit can beattached to the upper part of the <strong>TIMM</strong> and turns the focus scroller.Additional motor units are available for X, Y- and Z-axis supports.With the motorized system it is possible to realise an autofocus operation.
