<strong>Center</strong> <strong>Elementary</strong> <strong>School</strong><strong>Title</strong> I<strong>School</strong>wide/<strong>School</strong> <strong>Improvement</strong> Plan2011-2012*2. <strong>School</strong>wide reform strategies that are scientifically researched based.4. Teachers will plan collaboratively to integrate cross curricular standards. They willplan integrated lessons and performance tasks that demonstrate the relevance of realworld to academics.5. Teachers will utilize the RTI process to address the needs of individual students.6. Tutorial programs will be implemented:a. Direct Instruction Time (DI)b. After schoolc. Tutoring before school and during schoold. Tiger Team7. Teachers will utilize the RtI Program and the AutoSkill, FastForward, ScientificLearning, Study Island, Number Worlds, IXL, Education City and StarFallinterventions.8. Teachers will assess students using: pre-assessments, benchmark assessments, andcommon assessments; and will adjust instruction based on data retrieved from thoseassessments. At the end of each nine week grading period, data will be analyzed andaction plans adjusted to meet student needs.9. The data review teams will work with students who may be experiencing difficultieswith grades, behavior and/or environmental issues. The counselor, system socialworker and the Community Outreach Worker will work with students who arechronically absent from school. They will meet with students and parents to discussother school options when a student is considering dropping out of school.2(a). <strong>School</strong>wide reform strategies that provide opportunities for all children in the schoolto meet or exceed Georgia’s proficient and advanced levels of student performance.Response:Universal screening (probing) of all students, grades K-5, takes place the two weeks of school.The screening focuses on math skills, reading comprehension skills, and fluency. Data ReviewTeams, consisting of the Principal, Instructional coach, RTI Specialist, Counselor and grade levelteachers analyze the data from the screeners .
