Thinner layers of 1-3µm fulfil the higher requirements forscrewability, as well as the function of thescrew as a connecting element.A thin, uniform coating is important,particulary with small components suchas screws and nuts (M4 – M6), because itis the only way to ensure gaugeability.Using DELTA-MKS ® topcoats recess fillcan be prevented and free fitting can beassured.
