Applications
The SGG COOL-LITE SKN family is a
range of high performance solar
control glass designed for use in the
following applications:

Advantages
SGG COOL-LITE SKN154, SKN165B and
SKN172:
• improve visual comfort and levels of
natural light,
• are very neutral in transmission,
• are similar to normal double glazing
in reflection,
• help to conserve energy and protect
the environment,

Combining performance with neutrality, for
optimal solar control and thermal efficiency
• reduce the cost of air conditioning
during sunny periods due to their low
solar factor,
• reduce heating bills in winter
(U-value of 1.1 or 1.2 W/m2K), • can easily be combined with other
high performance glass for:
- Acoustic insulation using
SGG STADIP SILENCE
- Security using
SGG STADIP or SGG STADIP PROTECT.
Description
SGG COOL-LITE SKN154, SKN165B and
SKN172 are soft coated solar control
glass products, which are
manufactured by the cathodic
sputtering of several metallic coatings
onto ordinary clear glass
(SGG PLANILUX), under vacuum
conditions.
SGG COOL-LITE SKN must always be
assembled into a double glazed unit,
with the coated face to the inside of
the external pane (face 2).
